The Doc's Story

Born in California, where he became a chiropractor at Life West and pursued his career as a competitive racquetball player, Dr. Grant moved to Arizona over 10 years ago. He remains a chiropractor, working with patients of all ages, and backgrounds, at all Smith Family Chiropractic. But being a lifetime athlete himself, he has a special understanding of the physical and psychological needs of the athlete, and is skilled in sports medicine.

When he hung up his racquet, it was triathlons that next caught his eye and soon, his passion. He has now been a driven triathlete for over 4 years. He has completed two Ironman competitions, in Tempe, AZ and Coeur d'Alene, ID, has competed in the Tempe International multiple times, and is a regular at Tempe Town Lake for the Splash & Dash series, where he is a frequent top finisher.

Chiropractry and triathlons are not his only passions. He is also an accomplished author and musician, and a devoted husband to Tralonie, and father to Fallon and Jillian.
